Response to Amanda

 Amanda, I love your perspective on looking the growth that our country has made in such a positive light. Yes, we do have shortcomings in society, but that doesn't take away from how much our country has grown in the department of racial equality. I for one believe that racism is thought, not something a person is born with, and that yes, we do have our differences in appearance and pigmentation, but we are all just human.
