Response to Lexie

 I love how you brought up the differences in the definitions between now and then, but also the difference in definition based on gender and class. Not every word can mean the exact same thing to everyone in society, so the idea that these words may mean different things is not such a crazy idea. There is also such a double standard when it comes to things like confidence, sexual freedom, and intellect in almost every time period. The idea of Sor Juana being a narcissist just because she spoke her mind also plays homage to this double standard.
