Response To Lexi: There is a Meaning Behind Everything

I hadn't thought about that perspective Lexi. The perspective of judging a book by it's cover and not generally realizing it. Thanks to our new found knowledge from this weeks reading on semiotic linguistics we have opened up to those new ideas. An I completely agree that since we have now discovered this way of looking at objects, we can try to draw conclusions about these societies' that we are seeing in a new context. Yes "reading" objects can have some challenging drawbacks, but now that we are less ignorant about those deceptions we are better able to hone in on those skills.
