Response to Brooke

 Brooke, I also found it fascinating that Dario was able to connect the US to so many historical and Biblical figures. I also found it extra interesting that in doing this comparison, Dario was also able to insult and compliment the US at the same time. I am looking forward to see if any other authors use this same approach to addressing the US.
