Response to Brooke

 Brooke, the connection you made between these two topics is amazing! People always think about things that have happened in the past, but don't connect them with what is happing now. The facts that we took statues down that glorified racism was a tremendous step in out country's history. I hate to ask the question, but if we ignore some of the horrible parts of our country's past, and don't look at the movements we have made in a positive light, won't we be bound to repeat those missing parts?
